Albury Wodonga Kart Club have expanded their successful 'Kart to V8 Supercar' TV Campaign with sponsorship of the Formula 1 telecasts in the lead up to the $5,000 Gold Rush City of Wodonga Titles.

The very slick 30 second Ad features V8 Supercar driver Brad Jones talking about the benefits of karting... "Would you like to race a V8 Supercar? Then start in a kart..." with footage of great kart racing and the call to action to visit the Club's Website and an invitation to the race meetings.

The ad ran during the Saturday and Sunday V8 races throughout 2007 with excellent results - spectator numbers were up, interest at a kart shop level was up and the proof that it all worked - club membership doubled!

The campaign has been expanded this year to tap into another segment of the motorsport market with sponsorship of the local Channel 10 Formula 1 telecasts beginning with the Canadian Grand Prix. This is a perfect date to start the F1 campaign with the $5,000 Gold Rush City of Wodonga Titles the following weekend on the 14th and 15th of June.
