2009 City of Wodonga Titles

Albury Wodonga Kart Club will hold  the 2009 City of Wodonga Titles at the Sheathers Road Kart Complex on Sunday 23rd of August.

A strong field of the state's top go-kart drivers are expected to battle it out for the title honors including our own local drivers of Jordon Boys who is a multi-state champion and Macauley Jones, son of Brad Jones, who won his maiden state championship victory at the Queensland State Karting Championships in July this year.

Club President John Reynolds said the annual City of Wodonga Titles attracts some of the best drivers from Victoria and Southern NSW and the racing action will be fierce across all classes.

“This year we are expecting a record number of competitors in light of the Vic State Championship (Victorian Closed Titles) being held at the Sheathers Road Kart Complex at the end of this year”, Mr Reynolds said.

The Albury Wodonga Kart Club recently completed their new clubhouse which includes a canteen and updated facilities for members and spectators.

The race meeting will also be combined with Round 7 of the Club Championship and promises to provide a day of action packed racing commencing at 9am at the Sheathers Road Kart Complex in Wodonga.
