Rotax Light and Senior National Heavy return to AWKC Club Day
Posted on 13 March 2011

Our first Club day for 2011 saw the return of these classes to our line up for 2011.

Senior National Heavy's numbers were boosted when Treena Best layed down the gauntlet to the boys to come and have some fun with her !!. Unfortunately the wet weather and some hasty preparation by some saw some problems but in the end all had some fun and enjoyed the day.

Rotax light's numbers were boosted by a number of last years juniors stepping up to seniors. Racing was sprited and hopefully this will continue for the rest of the year.

Clubman and restricted numbers were down a bit so you clubby and newer racers get yourself organized and get to the track because the guy's that did have a run and get good results are getting a bit cocky and need some others to show them how they are really operating.

So lets get out those idle karts  and get prepared for our next club day on Sunday 27th and give it a go.

Results for the meeting can be seen in the 2011 Championship section of the website.

Our next club day falls on Melbourne Grand Prix weekend but rest assured racing will be over and you will be home by race start time of 5.00 pm. Of course the TV will be running in the Canteen all day.

The canteen will be open for liquid refreshments on the Saturday afternoon for those who wish to have a practice.

Also on the subject of the Canteen if any members can spare a few hours on Sunday to help out the hard working  Leeane Burns it would be most appreciated.
