Butcher Preps For Last Year In Junior Karting
Posted on 12 December 2008

It has been a huge 2008 for Bronson Butcher, highlights including racing legend cars on the asphalt speedways of The Bullring, Las Vegas and Irwindale, Los Angeles, and taking the NSW Speedway Championship in Junior National Light at Nepean Speedway, Sydney.

Now that racing has finished for the year, the 15 year old is pleased to announce the continued support of Kart Equip and HJM Race Engines of Albury for 2009. "It has been a challenging year with the dramas surrounding the Jmax class, but having the support of James and Harley made it possible to swing over to Junior Clubman and keep racing with a minimum of disruption. Now Jmax is looking really exciting for 2009 and again thanks to Kart Equip we will have the new XE 28 Arrow Kart." Bronson has run the XE 28 at several events through November and has been impressed. "We will be doing a lot more testing over summer, especially with the new mojo tyres".

In the planning stages is another trip to the USA, this time for an extended period racing Legend cars. It has been complicated no end by the crashing dollar and troubled economies, but the Holbrook driver has great support there as well as here, particularly from Australian businesses wanting to promote their brand in the US.

Another boost for what will be Bronson's last year in junior karting, is the addition of OGA Marketing and Design to the crew. "Ben and his team have done a brilliant job setting up a more professional look to the operation which gives sponsors far better value for their money. We will start seeing the results of their work in the new year and will be setting up the website bronsonbutcher.com".

It has been another great year moving forward and Bronson would like to thank his sponsors and supporters including, Kart Equip, HJM Race Engines, Churchill Transport, Back Straight Massage, OGA Marketing,  Doc Pearson and Bel Ray Oils.
